Our Story
Jack and Kathleen grew up in northeastern Pennsylvania and met while working at Damenti's restaurant where Jack was the chef and Kathleen was a server and bartender. They instantly connected and have been married for the last 25 years.
Their love of wine started when they responded to an advertisement for a wine-making class. After they made their first case of wine, Blueberry Merlot, they were hooked, and the rest is history.
Both Jack and Kathleen spent the last 20 years in healthcare before they decided to pursue their dream of owning their own wine shop.
When Jack and Kat moved to Goodyear from Florida, they saw that the city of Goodyear, and the West Valley community needed a space for connection and culture. Thus, Bacchus Wine and Debauchery was born.
Every detail reflects their passion for wine, for people, and for creating unforgettable experiences. Bacchus isn't just a bar; it's their love story, poured into every glass and shared with the community they cherish.
